Educational Background

I completed five years (2008-2012) of my secondary school in SMK Saint Columba, Miri, Sarawak acquiring straight A's in both my Pernilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). Later on, I pursue my Pre-U by joining Foundation in Science in Taylor's University Lakeside Campus for a year and thankfully, I managed to score a four pointer for my Pre-U . The university was introduced to me by an academic counsellor. I find it convenient that the university provides their prospective students with various choices of education based on their specific fields. The fact that the Pre-U programs are carried out within the span of a year seems pretty efficient to me as well, thus, prompting me to choose this university to pursue my education. Foundation In Science has been a form a great exposure to me because I was given the chance to polish up on many other skills besides preparing me for my tertiary education. I am currently in my first year degree of Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and it has been a great journey for me so far. I learn new things everyday and it had never occured to me that such vast knowledge and skills could be acquired within such a short period of time in medical school. I truly enjoy equipping myself with knowledge everyday and I am particularly grateful for the opportunity to be able to do so. I am still in my pre-clinical years for these two years and I am really looking forward to the coming clinical years where I can finally put the knowledge that I learned in various textbooks into practical skills.
